40 - Kuromenbun
Previously I was making three puzzles in each new genre that gets added to puzz.link. While I'm not actively doing this project anymore, I did have some puzzles already prepared for a new genre called Kuromenbun, which was finally put up onto pzprxs fork of puzz.link.
Here's the rules and example from the rules page:
Shade
some cells on the board. Numbers cannot be shaded. The combination of
given borders and shaded cells divide the unshaded cells into
sub-regions. Sub-regions can have no more than 1 number. Numbers
indicate how many shaded cells are horizontally or vertically adjacent
to the unshaded sub-region.
The
first two puzzles introduce many of the basic deductions in the genre.
The final puzzle is a significant step up from the other two:

Neat puzzles! Really unusual-feeling genre.
